I prefer to document the day without being obtrusive, getting close to the action but never in the way. I like to carry at least two cameras with flashes so I am always prepared to capture the fleeting moment. At each wedding I push my creative talents to build upon what I have done before. I constantly look around to pick up on the little events and details, move in to capture them, and then move on. I will pose a few photos before the ceremony and, of course, control of the formal family photos to make them go quickly. I like working for couples that appreciate good photography. By the end of the day, I feel like I really know the bride and groom and their families - I feel like we are good friends.
